A pot does not really become a peaice of art untill someone is using it. I make my work so that it is approcable and easy to use. For me it is very important that a pot does not scare someone off from using it. This is achieved by making pots with simple lines and tight forms. I work to give my pots a visual balance The decoration is minimal and relies alot on the kiln to add the last touches to the pot. My final goal with a pot is that it is warm and inviting.

I fire all my pots to cone 10 either in a gas or wood. I work in Philadelphia PA and make all my work at The Ceramic Shop. All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe.
